THE ICONIC

Regular readers would know that I can't help but be drawn to statement trousers, and this outfit is no different.

Recently I was asked by Aussie online retailer, The Iconic to jump on board and style an outfit from  my top fashion picks.

I was immediately drawn to these amazing Kirrily Johnston harem pants. They have an incredible amount of detail, and really are a standout wardrobe item.

Topped off with this Zoe Karssen tee and we've got one of my favourite outfits at the moment.

All items available at The Iconic.

DOMAINE CHANDON SECRET GARDEN PARTY

White Suede dress / Aldo heels / Chanel clutch

Yesterday, my husband and I had the pleasure of attending Domaine Chandon's Secret Garden Party, in the picturesque Yarra Valley.

The picture perfect afternoon was spent enjoying Chandon’s finest vintages, delicious culinary treats (of which included these very pretty 'edible pot-plants'), the beautiful voice of Clare Bowditch and of course some garden twister, croquet and chess.

A scene taken straight from The Great Gatsby.

A big thank you to Domaine Chandon and Undertow Media for such a stunning afternoon.

Lover dress via K&S Boutique / Samantha Wills earrings / Tony Bianco heels

As soon as this too-gorgeous-for-words dress arrived from my friends at K&S Boutique, I couldn't help but fall completely head over heels. The colour, the cut, the super delicate lace - all perfect.

I knew that I had to wear this dress for part II of my collaboration with photographer, Charley Greenfield. We shot these on Valentines Day, so beautiful pastel roses were a must.

The girls at K&S carry some of my absolute favourite Australian designers, including Manning Cartell, Camilla and Marc and of course Lover! This incredible skirt/crop combo is next on my shopping list - amazing or what!

As always, instagram for all the behind the scenes.

Having a blog has allowed me the fantastic opportunity to meet and collaborate with some truly inspiring and talented people.

My latest adventure, introduced me to Melbourne photographer and art director Charley Greenfield. Last week, we escaped the scorching heat, heading to the beach to snap two looks - here is part I.

I look forward to sharing the next instalment with you and teaming up with Charley again.

As always, instagram for all the sneak peeks.

One of the best things about Melbourne is the way the city embraces street art and culture. A maze of alleyways throughout the city invites you to explore on foot, the amazing sights, tastes, and of course boutique fashion, which is at the heart of this bustling metropolis.

Hosier lane, where these pictures were taken has to be one of my favourites, characterised by walls plastered with the work of artists from here, there and everywhere. Every time I walk through there is something new to uncover.

LEOPARD PRINT

RES Denim skirt / Cotton On mesh knit / Alexander Wang sandals / Mac Morange lipstick / hair by Jaye Edwards

I've become entirely obsessed with all things leopard at the moment, so this RES denim skirt is getting its fair share of a work out.

So far my obsession lends itself to only one leopard statement at a time, but the way I'm going, I wouldn't be surprised if I started doubling up and clashing leopard prints. After-all fashion is always a bit of an experiment right?

For now though, bold basics and a splash of statement leopard is for me.

Completely embracing the sports luxe trend here.

This Bec & Bridge dress - an exclusive from their MBFWA capsule range, is truly incredible and works a treat with this vintage leather cap, which I've had forever.

Minimalistic, tailored shapes and mixing up fabrics is what I'm all about at the moment.

I've decided to continue to embrace all things monochrome. As I've mentioned before, I'm never one to steer clear of colour, but sometimes, change is as good as a holiday right?

Speaking of which, I'm in the midst of planning out another global adventure. The thing with travel is that once you start, it becomes incredibly difficult to stop. I find myself compelled to explore new uncharted territory, whilst at the same time being drawn to my sentimental favourites.

As Bill Bryson puts it perfectly - to my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted.

For now it's back to the planning station.
